Anyone do an infant swim class?

I'm interested in participating in an infant swim class with J who is about to turn 6 months old. We live on the West Shore. Any suggestions? I'm a SAHM so they can be during the week. Thanks!

We do the Friendship Center in Harrisburg...that may be a little far for you to drive, did you look into the West Shore YMCA, that is where I went as a kid and I have heard GREAT things about it!

We did an infant swim class with Sierra and will do one with Savannah starting in October. Our class was through the township we live in.

We have classes through our township too but they are all full with a waiting list. I'm bummed.

We did them last winter through the West Shore School District at Redland's pool. They are in their fall session now, but I don't think the winter session has had signups yet. We're currently doing them through the YMCA at Northern's pool. I notice a big difference in doing them at 18 months than I did at a year. He's really getting a lot out of it now. Before he just cried mostly because they keep the water so cold!

That stinks, we have the opposite problem...there usually isn't enough people signed up. I guess driving to York would be out of the question.

Not at all because we're half way between York and Hbg. It would just depend on the time of day and cost! If you'd like, PM me with the name of the township so I can look it up! Thanks!
