Describe your ovulation pain.

I've never really noticed this before, although I have other signs (the diarrhea kind) around the time of ovulation. Is ovulation pain the feelings around ovulation or a very short feeling? I'm home sick today and I felt a little pop on my right side and am just wondering if that was ovulation pain. I'm just confused about how long the feeling lasts, a short little thing or a day of ie., cramping.

    For me, I get a sharp cramping pain on either my right or left side. Typically it will last from 4 hours to a whole afternoon. Some months I can feel it during intercourse.


    After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

    I get diareah too around O (right before) and then bad cramping on right/left side. Usually last 1-2 days.

    Sharp twisting pain, often worse if I stand up suddenly...always on the left (I have a cyst) and sometimes on both sides.  Usually show up about 3 - 4 days prior O, the pains themselves usually only last a few seconds and they come and go.

    Mine feels like a pinch. Some cycles I don't get any and others it kinda hurts. Sometimes it lasts a day and sometimes a few more.

    If it is indeed ovulation, I feel a pinching feeling. Sometimes it's short, sometimes it lasts a little longer. I get it off and on for a few days.

    Mine feels like someone stabbed my ovary with a knife, and it usually lasts all day for several days.  Some months I only get short stabbings, but this month my right ovary has been hurting non stop the whole time (don't think that's ovulation pain, probably a cyst again).

    This!  Mine starts about three days prior to O, and I get it for only a few minutes the first day, a few hours the second and third day
