I don't have a set schedule per se, the only "set" things are lunch and naps. We eat lunch at 11:30, watch Mickey or some other short show and then naps. The rest of the day, I try to find various activities to occupy them - circle time with singing and/or reading, we dance, we do watch some tv, coloring either on paper, chalk board or dry erase board, we do try to go play in the yard at least once a day if it is nice........it doesn't sound like a lot, but we are always busy.

We wake up and I put on Nic while I make coffee and breakfast. She can watch a show while she eats and I get ready for the day. Then the TV goes off for the morning and she usually plays while I putz around on the Internet while I drink my coffee.
After that it's usually laundry and/or errands and then home to play again.
We go somewhere basically everyday. I belong to Moms Club which I could not live without.
Yesterday was Bible Study. Today the zoo and fire station tour. Tomorrow - playgroup (younger DD). Thursday - Fit Moms (walk w/ other moms/kids) Friday - possible playgroup (older DD)
Days where he doesn't go to school we do our morning routine, then we try to get out of the house doing one of these things: mall play place, story time at the library, inflatable zone, parks, lunch with grandmom or friend, run errands, etc. Then we come home and have lunch. Then he naps. After nap is spent at home until Daddy arrives. We do snack in btwn breakfast and lunch and then after nap. When Daddy gets home we play, have dinner, then it's our evening routine and he is in bed btwn 8-830.
While I was home with the girls this summer, this was pretty much our day:
*Wake, breakfast, cartoons
*Get dressed, run errands
*Snack
*Park or other physical activity (bounce place, bike ride, etc.)
*Lunch
*Nap
*Free play (toys, reading, arts & crafts, etc.)
*Snack
*More outside time.
*TV (While I'd cook dinner)
*Dinner
*Bath/Bed
There was often extra TV times thrown in there if Jilli was on a feeding frenzie or fussy that day but I'd try my best to stick to some variation of the above since Mia really needs some solid play time to release her energy. If/when I'm home with them permanently, I will probably also try to incorporate more educational things either at home or around town.
We get out the door between 9 and 10 usually. If DD has school we walk there, if not, we have a playgroup and storytime. Friday is the only morning we have open, and I usually let DD play, go for a long walk to someplace fun, or go visit one of my relatives. We usually come home from our morning between 12:30 and 1:30. DD plays for a while (she used to nap, now just plays by herself). I do whatever I need to do and play a bit with DS. At around 3:30 or 4, we have another activity, usually the park, science center, zoo, ballet, or playdate. Get home about 5:30 or 6: feed DD and prep dinner for us, get her ready for bed, take her for a walk. 7:30, DH comes home and puts her in the bed. Then we have dinner and I put DS to bed.
Up at about 7. We poot around in the mornings with breakfast, baby nap, house stuff like laundry and cleaning.
His nap is 11-1, and we go somewhere in the afternoon most days. The park, the mall, etc.
I don't run a three ring circus for his entertainment, but I try to make what we do, fun. He 'helps' with the grocery shopping, hands the cashier the coupons, etc.
AKA KnittyB*tch DS - December 2006 DD - December 2008
No rhyme or reason to it. Wake up: Diaper changes, caffeine for Mommy, milk for babies, breakfast, play time, DD naps, I clean up dishes...start laundry, etc., if we're going somewhere I get everyone ready and loaded up, lunch either here or out, play, naps, I exercise, nest, check email, clean up or whatever needs to be done during naptime, kids get up from naps, we play, go outside, run errands or whatever needs to happen that afternoon, dinner, baths, bed for DD at 7, play with DS, read books, bed for DS at 9, then I use whatever time leftover to do whatever I need to do. Tues. & Thurs. is school day (when they're not sick!!!).
Wake up, eat breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth. They usually watch PBS or play in their room or something while I finish getting ready. If it's nice outside, we head out to the yard and they can find all kinds of stuff to do out there. We run errands together, and sometimes I take them over to my mom's house. I try to get in at least one focused activity each day, like doing puzzles, or play-doh, or dancing or whatever. We just kind of take the day as it comes and that's it. After all of that, we have lunch and then do some more playing around. Often times I am doing chores or cooking or whatever, and they like to "help" me with that. Then it's naptime, and then we have our dinner, usually followed by a trip to the park or out somewhere. I really like to get them out of the house - it breaks up the day a lot. Even if it's just a run to the store to get milk, it's fun for them. They also go to Mother's Day Out twice a week for socialization and preschool-type activities.
Wake up around 7-7:30, breakfast, watch a little Disney channel, I clean up the house while he runs around playing, we play together for awhile, we get showered and ready for the day, have lunch, then get ready to leave for school. He goes to Pre-K from 12:30-3pm. While he is at school I run errands (grocery, bank, gas, etc) Once in awhile I will just chill at home while he is at school, but that isn't very often. After I pick him up we come home, have a snack, play and wait for Jim to get home.
T & TH
I substitute teach and he goes to my mom's house!
Jack is almost 4.5 yrs old. (oh my lord, I can't believe he is that old!)
Every morning DD #1 gets up and plays while I get ready, we have breakfast, and then take DH to work. Monday we have music class at a library and then spend some time at the library afterwards, home for lunch, and nap, and then in the afternoon we run errands/go to a playground/take a walk/clean and then pick up DH. Tuesday and Thursday mornings are nursery school for DD#1 and then home to lunch and nap and the afternoons are the same as Monday.
Wednesday we do some planned activity...tomorrow we are meeting up with a friend at a museum. Fridays my mom comes and helps out. I always try to do something out in the morning, and then something more quiet or at home in the afternoon. We watch very little tv but I will sometimes let her watch Seseme Street or the Scolastic books we have on DVD (like Harold and the Purple Crayon, Shrinking Violet, Goodnight Gorilla etc).
