Today's appt (38 weeks, 3 days)

in Pregnant after 35

No dilation, no effacement, and I haven't had a single contraction. This is my first.  Anyone else in the same position?

    I was for my son; he wasn't born until 41 and 6!  Oy.  Hope your body kicks in sooner than that and in the meantime, that you aren't too uncomfortable!  GL!

    I had zero progress at my appt at 38 w 6 days but was having some menstrual feeling cramps.  I went into labor two nights later and delivered DD about 36 hours after that at 39 w 3 d.  She is our first.  GL!
    DD1 is 3, DD2 is 1.

    With my DD I had absolutely no progress when I went to my Dr appt on a Tuesday (37 weeks) and she came on that Saturday. You never know.
