What age for the circus?

A friend that has a 21 month old just invited DD and I to the circus next month.  DD will be 17 months.  Has anyone tried going to the circus?  How did it work out?

    We havent done the circus, but we have taken DS to many other events and hes always great. He does get antsy but its expected. I think the circus would be fun and your DD would enjoy it.

    My dd is 17 months now and I think she'd love the circus. However, that being said, and not to get all animal rights on you, I will never take my daughter to the circus b/c of all the history and video evidence of abuse of the animals in circuses.  I just cannot support that behavior.

    There was a Cole bro circus near me in july when dd turned 1 and she loved it! It was about an hour and a half. She clapped and screamed and was so excited. She had room to walk around a bit also. I brought her fave snacks and milk and one of those light up things they sell. She was occupied

    We took DS to the circus when he was 17 months old.  It was the Ringling Brothers circus, and he had a lot of fun.  There was so much going on, and he was into it the entire time.

    Just took my 17mth old on Saturday and he loved it!  Have fun!
