Wierd craving.....Hard boiled Eggs.......yum?

in 1st Trimester

Ok I could eat a dozen hard boiled eggs in one sitting. I am sure to some this sounds disgusting, but they taste amazing to me!

 Is this is something good to eat right?

    Eggs are very good for your baby...they make it grow (well protein does). In my early weeks of 1st tri I would crave eggs soooooo much...I went through so many eggs....I had them fried, I made egg salad sandwiches, I wanted fried rice....it has slowed some but it is still there. I'm really excited to make this Fritata tomorrow...(basically an omlet).

    I usually don't care for them either, but I put one in my salad this weekend and it was AMAZING!

    ughhh...i've always hated the smell of eggs and I hope that I will never crave them during pregnancy.  I'm sure they are good to eat as they contain protein.  They say that you crave food with nutrients you are in need of so that may be the case.  My pregnancy craving is hotsauce.  I have to have it on everything.  It is so bad that I have went through a regular size bottle in abot 3 days :-/

    I like eggs typically, but DH is eating scrambled eggs next to me this am and it makes me want to yack.

    Right now I am craving meat, particularly steak and duck.... mmmm.... duck

    Yum!!  Hard boiled eggs do sound SO good!!  Maybe that's what I will eat for supper.  I have been craving egg salad but didn't think I should eat it because of the mayo?  Is it ok to eat it?

    Testing results all returned normal and baby was a GIRL.
    More testing on mom and dad for other issues all returned normal results.

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with store bought mayo!!!!!

    Haha! I had that craving last week and ate too many. I think I may be off of hard boiled eggs for a while now. I keep having that problem. I want to eat something so bad then I do and I must over do because I lose all interest.

    I've been having egg salad for lunch almost every day for over a week!  I usually love eggs, but lately I REALLY love eggs!  I do pop out one yolk per every 2 eggs (I have high cholesterol).

    I love hard boiled eggs, but I've never eaten the yolk. I just take the middle out and sprinkle it with some salt and pepper.

    Actually, I hard boiled a dozen eggs this weekend so I could eat them at lunchtime. :)
