I was just thinking back to when I was in labor with DS. They had the blood pressure thing on my arm set to go off every 15min. Seemed like I was mid contraction everytime, and you better believe I ripped it off my arm almost everytime!! anyone else? LOL

I hated that thing. I have a weird irrational fear of those automated ones popping my arm off or something as it is. Plus I had really low blood pressure and the monitor kept going off and a bunch of nurses would come rushing in. I thought I was dying or something.

Me too! I hate that damn thing and it seems like they put it on so tight, I don't know how my arm didn't explode. I was in the hospital for 5 days at 33 weeks and it went off EVERY 15 minutes.

Son of a ----!! I am sorry. Freaking bump...

anyway, with DS2 I didn't get an epi so I left the bed several times for bathroom breaks and had to take the bp cuff off. the nurse told us to just put it back on ourselves since she wasn't always there. but everytime I got back in bed I kept "forgetting." LOL
