sippy cups...

How many do you have out at any one time?  Everytime Cruz asks for water dh gets out another cup instead of going and hunting down his cup!  Today I have found 5 sippy cups sitting around the house after the weekend!  It drives me nuts because I don't know how long they have been sitting around!  Anyone have any good solutions?

Re: sippy cups...

  • lol, this is soo us!  Except, it's Audrey that is getting another one out and pulling a chair up to the sink and filling it up herself!

If I give her one from earlier in teh day, she has a cow!

    WHATEVER kid!

No, I don't have any solutions, just wanted to say you are  not alone!

  • We just keep one filled in the fridge.

  • the one in the fridge will change when she's a toddler and all over the place on her own.  ;)

We usually have one milk one and one water one around.  I try to get the milk one back into the fridge when interest has been lost, or when he goes down for a nap.   Oh we usually have another water one upstairs b/c we use it for bedtime.

I don't have any solutions.  Ben usually keeps track of his cup.

  • We're done with sippy's.  DS would freak if the stopper was in because he's lazy and hates how slow it is with the stopper but with out the stopper we have messes all over the house.  If he wants  a drink now, he comes and gets it in the kitchen, takes a drink and it goes back in the fridge if milk or dumped out and put on the counter if it's water.  The exception is in his bedroom where DH will leave them and then when there are none I have to go hunt them down.

  • Payton has 2-3 sippy cups out at any given time.  We try to only use 1 during the day for juice and water and then use a different one for milk.  It's all about whether or not one of us knows there's one already out and about or in the fridge.  I won't go looking for a sippy, I'd rather just use a new one.  It gets a little ridiculous at times when we clean up and there are half a dozen sippy cups throughout the house but whatever... it could be worse, right?  lol

  • We keep a milk one filled in the fridge, and a water one out.  I try not to use more than 2 a day because they take up so much space in the dishwasher!
