Bob Revolution Duallie - tell me about it

I know this gets asked all the time... but what do you love/hate about it? Is it easy to collapse?  I know it's not light... but is it worth the weight/bulk?

Looking for a good stroller for walking in the neighborhood, zoo, trails (not likely to be jogging much and have a joovy caboose for the mall, etc.)

Other recs?

Oh, and did REI already have their 20%off sale?

Re: Bob Revolution Duallie - tell me about it

  • It is a really nice stroller.  You will be happy with it.  REI has 20% off coming up in October.

I prefer the baby jogger city classic or elite, Bumble ride indy twin, Easy walker duo sky, or Mountain buggy urban double if you are not a runner.  All have a smaller footprint, less than 30" wide, making doorways a ton easier (almost all doorways are 30" or more, but a lot are just 30", especially double doors, so less than 30" is pretty much manditory for me), and other features that work better for strolling a lot in my opinion depending on what you like to do.

  • Best stroller I own (and I have 5) and I would buy it again.  It's true one-handed pushing and it's not that hard to collapse.  My kids are very comfortable in it and the sunshades are huge so we can go out in the middle of the day and they are shaded.  I don't personally think it's that heavy.  It's the only double I bought and I use it everywhere including the mall and have never really had problems with it's size.

  • I really like mine too. It is big but can fit through any doorway I have tried. We take it everywhere with us. Even to the airport. We run with it a lot too. The nice thing about REI is 100% satisfaction. We owned another for several months and took it back without any questions.
