A place with pumpkins

I want to take DD to a place with lots of cute pumpkins to take her 1yr pix (we do all our own pix). We went to Cox Farms on Sunday and it's a nice place but all the pumpkins are after you exit and I think it's silly to pay $30 for DH and me (DD's bday is on Columbus Day this yr so they are charging a weekend rate that day) just to take pix after exiting!

I'm willing to pay but just not $30, any suggestions? Close to Ashburn is preferred. TIA!

    Can you just go and park and stand next to the pumpkins at the exit?  Without going in?  I've never been there, so I don't know the set up. 

    Or buy your own pumpkins?  Or maybe they're expensive...?

    Or see if a neighbor puts up some kind of cute Fall/Harvest decorations in their yard and ask them if you can stand in front of it.

    Or go to a (free) park or garden, with one store-bought pumpkin in hand, and set up your own scene?  It might be cute to just have baby sit next to one big pumpkin, so you don't have to find a while spread.

    Just throwing ideas out...

    Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

    Sofya, there is actually another farm right down Braddock from Cox. It's called Ticonderoga Farm, and admission is only $7.95 (I think!).

    It was good running into you yesterday, BTW :)
