My shower is Saturday, and not one thing has been purchased off of either of my registries! I know some people wait until the last minute, and I am so appreciative of what I get, but I would like to feel like doing the registry wasn't a waste of time. Uggh. Ok. vent over. Sorry!!

    this is one of my bggest fears, that people will just get what they want to get and not necessarily what we really need. not being ungrateful but what is the point of the registry if everyone is just gonna ignore it? sorry if i added more fuel to your fireEmbarrassed

    RPL panel Aug 2008 ~ diagnosed with compound hetero MTHFR
    BFP #5 Nov 2008 EDD Jul 31 ~ blighted Ovum ~ Dec 2008 ~ 4wk 3d ~ natural m/c at home for my birthday
    BFP #6 Feb 2009 EDD Oct 15 ~ 4wk 3d ~ chemical pregnancy ~ Mar 2008
    BFP #7 May 18 2009 ~ Gabriel Michael ~ Jan 19, 2010 ~ 7lbs 2oz 21"
    TTC again since Jan 2011
    BFP #8 Jun 2011 EDD Jan 20 ~ 5wk 6d ~ missed m/c ~ D&C
    July - Hysterscopy removed some polyps, all clear for IUI with clomid
    Aug-Oct - IUI - with Clomid all BFN
    Nov-Jan - IUI - with femara and trigger = BFN
    back to TTC naturally on our own hoping for another miracle.

    Well, I can tell you sometimes the website doesn't always update etc, but yeah, people like to buy clothes and blankets....I am sure you will get some last min shoppers (like me!) who will get you stuff!!! ?It is annoying, I have been trying super hard not to look my shower is sat.

    Oh yours is Saturday too? GL! Its hard not to look but I find myself bored and pulling it up!

    This happened to us also. People ended up getting stuff literally one to two days before the shower. We ended up with almost all of our "big ticket" items but not much of the little stuff. Many people just bought us the usual stuff such as blankets, onesies, etc. We ended up having to buy lots of the little more "boring" items such as changing pad covers, plain white onesies, socks, diapers, etc. Good luck!

    I know that when I've gone to showers I end up going one or two days beforehand.  Hopefully that is the case in your situation!

    I hear you! Mine isn't until next Saturday, but I had to go on my BRU registry today to remove the swing and bouncy seat because my mom got them for me somewhere cheaper, and not one thing has been purchased yet. Crying Such a bummer, there are 35 people coming so I'm really hoping they're just late shoppers, I hate to think we would end up not getting any of the stuff we really need!

    We registered several wks ago and I haven't looked at it until this past Saturday. I had a surprise shower on Saturday and my middle sister bought me my exersaucer but found it else where. So I went online Saturday night and found the exersaucer and removed it.

    I will say that is all I looked for. I like surprises and Im hoping I'll get more gifts before the baby arrives. So I won't look at it.
