Will gyno be mad at me?

So after i had my m/c, my dr. said i had to wait at least two cycles to try again. The time is creeping by and I can't stand it anymore! However, i worry that if i try before the two cycles is up a) she will be upset with me and b) if anything happens it will be a "see?' situation.

What would you do? Wait? AngryCrying

    If it was me, with my gyno (who I trust implicitly), I would wait. I know it's frustrating, but I'm sure that your doctor had a good reason (your health and well-being) to ask you to wait the two cycles. You've only got one body...you really need to take the best care of it that you can :-)

    Did the dr. tell you why to wait two cycles?  I have no experience with m/c, but I'm sure it has to do with your body's healing and the prevention of another m/c by trying again too early.  Two cycles isn't that long to wait.

    I'm sorry about your loss.  Did you have a natural MC or a D&C?  I had a natural miscarriage in April, then got pregnant in May, and this pregnancy has been so healthy.  If you had a D&C, however, I'd wait the 2 months, because your uterus needs that time to build up its lining again.  D&C is just so invasive to the uterus (it basically scrapes all the lining of your uterus) that I personally think the extra time is really necessary (although I'm no M.D.)

    The great news is that women are generally extra fertile after miscarriages.  ALL of my friends (and myself) who had miscarriages got pregnant very quickly after the MC.  I hope the same is the case for you.  Good luck!

    I would wait.  I had a m/c and D&C in January and had ot wait 2 cycles to get pregnant again and I waited until I got the go ahead and got pg the first cycle I could, which was nice.  I am due in December and all is well.  THey said the reason to wait after the D&C is because your uterus needs time to heal after that surgery.

    I am sorry for your loss. Deciding when to TTC after a loss is a personal decision made with your doctor's advice. I had an early natural m/c and waited two cycles before TTC. I am glad that I waited both emotionally and physically, because I did get pg again quickly, and was glad for the time to drink wine, eat sushi, and be ready to try again. GL with your decision.

    I had a D&C last September and my doc told me to wait until I got my period and then begin trying. I got my period the end of October (approx 33 days after the surgery) and we started trying again in November (1st full cycle post D&C) and I got pg in early Feb.  She said there is absolutely no medical reason to wait any longer than after your first period (this view is also shared by all the other docs in my practice).
