Turns out my MIL is a doctor...

I'm so surprised I never knew about her secret life.

Apparently I shouldn't be taking the flu medicine that THE DOCTOR prescribed me because it's not healthy for me or the baby.

This is from the woman who doesn't think I should breastfeed because she won't be able to hold the baby as much.

I was a serial killer in my past life, I swear, and this is my punishment.

    Wow, sounds like my MIL, the doctors just do stuff because of the money not for the health of me and my child.

    Mine said the same thing.  She said that to be a real grandma, she has to feed, rock and burp our LO.  I didn't know that there were real and fake gmas.

    My mother was probably in the same class! Jeez, I hate it when she gives out medical advice. She's just been peeved that I'm seeing a midwife and not an OB.

    mine keeps trying to take my damn cat because I guess she thinks Im stupid enough to let my cat kill my  baby! :)

    Yikes! What a freak. Especially about the feeding thing.

    My MIL is cool, it's just that anything sounds ultra-annoying when it comes from them.  For example, when I told her I was switching to midwives, she asked "Is that safe?"  Normal question... but at the time it annoyed the bejesus out of me.

    HAHA!  Your MIL must be mine!

    Mine told me I shouldn't take Claritin even though it is on my doctor's ok list.  Also she proceeded to ask her daughter who is a PA student if that was ok.  Apparently SIL is smarter than my doctor.  I am being punished too.  Believe me...

    Sounds like my MIL, mine says that i shouldn't be taking the meds my doc gave me for PUPPP but, instead just take a bath in Dreft everynight and take these poppyweed things from her backyard and rub them on my body.... Surprise yes i am serious
