Baby Jogger vs. BOB

We are looking at purchasing either the BOB revolution or the BabyJogger Summit for a jogging stroller (DH runs ~5 mi 4-5x/wk). When we tried them both out in BBB, DH thought the BabyJogger was wobbly when the front was not locked. Other than this, we liked the BabyJogger better. Does anyone have opinions on one vs. the other?

    I don't know much about the BabyJogger Summit, so take this with a grain of salt.

    Everyone I know who has a BOB absolutely LOVES them. And from what I have heard they are more durable and last longer.  I know some people who tried to save a few bucks and buy a knockoff (don't know what brand) and they ended up having trouble with it and then buying a BOB.

    The BOB and BabyJogger both get "A" ratings in Baby Bargains.

    I am getting the BOB.  I have heard nothing but good things from people who have it and also from most of the reviews.  My parents buying it for us as my shower gift (yea!), and I fully expect to love it.  We went and tested it and thought it was very sturdy but I didn't do a whole lot of comparison shopping since everyone I know who had a jogging stroller said either a) they have the BOB and love it, or b) had something else and wish they had the BOB.  Good luck!

    I am actually going with the BOB, but have heard great things about both - so think it's probably a win-win situation between the two. Our local running store actually only carries/orders the Baby Jogger so that puts it pretty high on the list in my book as well. One of the main things I have heard about the Baby Jogger that is better is that it is higher or has a higher handle bar at least so for taller runners it may be better...

    Can you get them both from REI? I know REI's return and exchange program is AMAZING and if anything breaks later on with the stroller you can typically bring it in and they will exchange or fix it without hesitation. That is where my SIL got her Bob. She hasn't had a problem with it, but if she does, they said they'd fix it or replace it.?

    i dont know anything about the baby jogger but have a double bob revolution and love it! i've never run with it but go on lots of walks and its been to theme parks and its awesome! turns so good and i can still throw it into the back of my yukon at 9mo pregnant so not too heavy :) i got the car seat adapter, cup holder console and matching diaper bag that clips on..awesome awesome!

    I am only getting a Bob Revolution.  Not getting another stroller.  We live in Hawaii and have seen people using them in the sand like it's nothing! Plus with the moving front wheel, I can use it in malls, airports, etc.  I figure just spend a big amount on one great stroller instead of the same amount on two mediocre strollers.  My big thing was which of the few carseats to get for it.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
