Toddler Bed question.

DS will soon figure out how to climb out of his crib, Which means we will be converting it to a toddler bed.

My question: How do I keep him in it??

    He might just stay in it. I think TJ only got outta bed a handful of times. The first time I would tell him that it's night night time and he needed to go to sleep. And then everytime after that I picked him up, and put him back in his bed with a kiss on the forehead and no words.

    DD went to a toddler bed at 21 mos because she climbed out of her crib.

    It took about a week of being really consistent, but after putting her back in her bed over and over and over, she got the idea pretty quickly. It was much less painful than I thought.

    DS climbed out of his crib 3 times one day just before he turned 2, the next week he was in the toddler bed.  We made a HUGE deal out of his big boy bed and he helped daddy put it together.  He has only climbed out in the night once.  We also made sure he showed it off to all of the grandparents, etc, he would BEAM!
