Pre-PG weight does NOT = Pre-PG body

Humph!

I've been doing Weight Watchers and today was "weigh in" and I'm 2 pounds below my pre-PG weight.  I fit in my pre-PG clothes but there's definitely still a little pudge.  I knew that even when I lost all the weight I'd still have to tone up to get my body back but it's still depressing.

  • Agreed. I am 5 lbs over (and have been since week 6) but I still have lots of loose skin and chub in my lower belly.

  • I'm with you.  I'm only about 10 lbs. above my pre-pg. weight (<sigh> and I should really do something about it), but not one of my pre-pg. pairs of pants remotely fits.  It's like all my weight just shifted to new/weird places.  Oh well.  DS is worth it!  I just don't like having to buy an all-new set of pants.  Thankfully, my pre-pg. shirts fit fine.

  • it's even worse after your 2nd pg... esp if it's twins :)

i'm only 3lbs away from my pre-pg weight- but things are NOT anything like they were before i was pg with the twins :(

Ugh - yep! And I thought I looked cute that day!

I have managed to tone my belly (although it's still not the same), but I think these W-I-D-E hips are here to stay! Darn :(  ...and I thought I had wide hips to begin with!

  • Agreed. Stinks. I have been toning my belly too but none of my form-fitting t's look even remotely good on me =/

DH just doesn't get why I want to buy some new tops...

  • ditto ditto ditto. it sucks big time. my weight is same as pre-preg but my tummy is rolly, my butt is flat and my legs don't have the muscle tone they used to. granted with my c-section i've taken my time getting back to the gym, but still. it's depressing!

  • thank you for posting this!  i was starting to think there was something wrong with me- i'm 3-5 lbs lighter than pre-pg but all of my tops are too small and my larger pants just barely button!  WTH!  i'm going shopping tomorrow hopefully to get some clothes that fit for returning to work.
