I'm delivering at Hoag but saw that PacifiCord offers a series of prenatal classes. Has anyone taken any of the classes there or should I stick to the classes Hoag offers?
I just took their Happiest Baby on the Block class yesterday and I really liked it. I thought it was going to be a huge cord blood banking sale's pitch, but it totally wasn't. She talked about cord blood banking for all of 10 minutes at the very end. Nurse Wendy (the instructor) is awesome and very entertaining. She kept my husband's interest and he has serious adult ADD, so that is saying alot. I also signed up for the Hoag classes, but since Hoag doesn't do Happiest Baby, I just took it there. If their other classes are just as good, I would say go for it. They are free, so why not!?!? Hope that helps.
I took most of the classes that Pacificord offered and liked them. Like pp, I loved the instructor. She knows her stuff. I would recommend them. I am also giving birth at Hoag. You can leave early if you have no interest in cord banking.
Re: PacifiCord classes?
