When to give shower hostess her gift?

My shower is this coming Saturday, and I am not sure if I should bring her hostess gift to the shower or give it to her another day. Any suggestions?

    I did it at the end of the shower when things started settling down!

    I went about 20 minutes early to make sure I was there before guests and gave it to her then.

    I am going to give it to them afterwards. Maybe take them to dinner one night the week after. :)

    I'm staying for cleanup, so I'm going to give them their gifts then. Smile

    Mar - June 2011: Clomid 100mg
    July 2011: Unmedicated cycle = BFP! on August 29th, 2011
    Nov 6th 2011: m/c due to subchorionic hematoma
    Dec 2011: Start TTC again, unmedicated
    February 12th, 2012: BFP! EDD 10/23/12
    Mar 12th 2012: diagnosed as blighted ovum

    Speaking of hostess gifts, what are you/did you get for your shower hostess?  My shower is Saturday too and I need to go shopping, but have no idea really what to get for my Mom and sisters.

    I put them on their chairs at the shower before it started when they were doing other stuff.

    I gave hostess 1 (MIL's BFF) a basket with a fall scented difuser and delicious soap/lotion from BBW & I threw in a "Fancy Nancy" book.  Her DIL is also expecting a girl so I thought it was a cute theme, "Sugar and Spice and everything nice."

     Hostess 2 (my BFF) I got her a G.C. to her favorite restaurant.
