Baby Bargains Book

Someone recommended I get this for registering.  Anyone have any opinions?

    It's been highly recommended to me too.  It's currently in my Amazon cart.  I used the Wedding Bargains book back when I was planning our wedding (same authors) and found it very helpful.

    I got this book and it helped my registering. I didn't know anything about what to choose and this book helped me narrow down what to pick. I recommend it!

     P.S. I just checked it out from the library rather than bought it. Just an idea

    Absolutely yes!!  It's currently in its 8th edition, so check to see if your library has that one (most up-to-date reviews on brands, etc.).  If not, I'd say it's definitely worth the $12 on Amazon to buy the newest edition.

    I agree! I bought it before we started looking at cribs, and I've been obsessed with it ever since. I also bought the Consumer Reports Baby Products too. This is my first baby, and everything costs so much, I want to make sure the things I get are the best quality so they last through future babies as well. It's good to have everything in one book, they compile lots of things to make their recommendations, from safety, recalls, price, and quality, to things like customer service. I think the book is great, especially for people who are indecisive like me. :)
