cute or corney?

okay maybe thats not the best title post but I need an opinion. for Kai's birthday party we were going to just cook hotdogs and burgers. but we have thought instead of doing a fall dinner kinds of foods. we are thinking turkey, potaoes, stuffing etc. would that be wierd to have a meal like that at a birthday party?

I think after a long, hot summer of hamburgers and hotdogs, people would be pleasantly surprised (and grateful) to have something more substantial and fall-like. I think it would really cute to do them in creative portions too....like mini muffin tins of mashed potatoes or something like that.
