TTC in NOVA and new to the board. :)

Hi!  am new here and am eager to get some great advice from local mommies! I was married on August 8 and we found out we had a honeymoon baby but unfortunately, i had a miscarriage. :(

Couple of questions:

Can anyone reccomend a great OB in Nova? i have heard things about Dr. Glena Anderson, Dr. Maser and Dr. Michelle Stas. Also, after a miscarriage, do you usually have a normal cyle and ovulate soon after?

    Welcome, congrats on your wedding and I'm really sorry to hear about your loss!   A m/c can be difficult to deal with. 

    I go to the practice with Dr. Andersen, et al. and absolutely LOVE them!  I highly recommend them.

    When I've had my m/cs I have always had a normal cycle and O just about the same time afterwards.  The m/c didn't seem to affect my cycles that much.

    Welcome and I am so sorry for your loss.  I do know people who got pregnant (and it stuck) on their very next cycle.

    Hi and welcome! I was fortunate in that after my miscarriage I got pregnant before my next period. I go to Cap Women's with Dr Stats and I LOVE her! She's not my normal OB, that would be Dr Hibshman, LOVE her too! The practice is very good overall and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them. I know they have several offices around.
