Suggestions for "announcing" the news?

I feel like  PW today, but whatever. At least it's all pg-related.

So, after I have a great appointment next Monday (I'm thinking so positive!), we plan to let the cat out of the bag. Our good friends and family know, but I'll want to make a post on our blog for sure, and I'm not sure how to tell everyone else.

I don't really want to make a status update on facebook, but I'm thinking that might be the best option. Or I could just send an email to all of our friends, but I don't have emails for most family and I'm friends with some cousins on facebook. Gah. 

So, any ideas for something either cute, or just not so gag-erific that I can post on facebook? I don't want to be a smug pg biatch. And any cute ideas to post on the blog?

    I wrote "Introducing Baby H" with an u/s pic from our NT scan.

    We told close friends & family before putting it on FB, but for all those friends you don't talk to as often, FB is great... we got a very nice response. :)
