How does your LO nap?

My 6 week old will not nap! It takes so much work and if I get her to sleep, she won't stay sleeping. How do you guys do it? I have to swaddle, walk, and have white going and it's still takes forever to get her to sleep. Then, I'm lucky if I can actually put her down and have her stay sleeping. She gets overtired and cranky and then it is even worse. This shouldn't be this hard... any suggestions? TIA

    DS wouldn't really nap until he hit 8 weeks old...then overnight he became a pretty awesome napper!

    DD is a pretty good sleeper. But if she is having trouble I will put her in her swing and that usually does the trick. Do you use a pacifier? I did not with DS and I do with DD and I think they really help. DD is a better sleeper and self soother because of it..

    Do you breast feed? when E was that old he would fall asleep feeding then I would put him down.

    at my old work we had a little girl who would not go to nap! so we swaddled her real tight, covered her eyes with a blanket, put her paci in her mouth, put her in a boppy and patted her gently but really fast and in a minute she would knock out. but  as soon as her face was fully uncovered, she would wake up

    I use the swing or we have the bright starts papsan and with the music and vibrator on, LO takes great naps.

    We have a swing and sometimes I can put her in it, but only after already getting her to sleep. She won't just fall asleep on her own in it. I do breastfeed, but she is a fussy breastfeeder and doesn't fall asleep that way. Most of the time I pump and give her a bottle because she is such an inefficient breastfeeder. It is just so much work to ge her to fall asleep, then I try and put her down sleeping and she wakes up and all the time I just spent is wasted...
