I have a decision to make - have lots of sex this week or none at all. To be perfectly honest, I haven't felt like having sex for quite a while. Maybe I'm depressed. Whatever. The point is, I will probably ovulate sometime around next weekend, not that I'm charting or anything. And since getting KU with sex alone is like winning the lottery for us, it doesn't much matter if we do it or not. I also have been getting really angry at H for not calling to make the appt for the varicocele surgery. It's been MONTHS. Three to be exact. Asking him to do it, nagging him about it, fights and actual tears - none of it has worked, so I mentioned that maybe I should withhold sex until he gets it done. Although that's an extremely biitchy thing to do. Maybe I'll just withhold BJ's.

Not sure what the point of this post is. Maybe I need suggestions on what I should do. What would you do? I decided last night to drink a bottle of wine, and he ended up drinking half of it. Super Angry

What's his reasoning for not having it done? I had to push my husband a ton just to fill out the damn paperwork for the RE's office. It took all of 5 minutes for him to do it (he had to check the boxes, I did everything else). Why he resisted is beyond me.

I'm not a big believer in withholding sex, but in this case, I might just do it. Why should he get what he wants when you're not getting what you want!?!?!? That's a selfish answer, I know.

Wish I could help ya ... if you need a bottle, I'm local and I've got a ton I'd be willing to share! haha

first off - stop giving blow jobs.

damn Dipitie that sounds rough. i know what it's like to cry, yell and fight just to get the H to understand how much I need them to do his part. i'm sure you've had hundreds of talks about this, but you need to seriously sit him down and get to the root of this. it's a couple of phone calls and setting appointments. yes surgery sucks and is scary, but so is everything else we'll have to go through to have our children. if it was something you had to do, you would step up to do it...right? he needs to really really understand that. why the delay?

He is currently unemployed, so he wants to wait until he has a job before he gets it done, even though he promised back in July that he would get it done right away while he had the free time to recover. I tried explaining how getting it fixed will take at least 6 months to take effect, but he doesn't get it. He is way too optimistic and just thinks everything will be fine, where I am the exact opposite. If he gets his junk fixed right now, and everything goes better than perfect, I am still looking at 2011. Awesome.

I'd force him to have the sex, you never know, even though its a longshot, its not like it physically hurts, right?

Then I'd withhold the BJs. Something's going to have to give and males are weaker than we are. ;-)

I just want to say Im sorry. What a horrible position you are in- I just hope that somehow, some way your DH will catch a clue and get the surgery done and take his vitamins.

I'm so sorry, I can't believe he's being so frustrating. I would withhold sex and BJ's (unless your in the mood).

Just out of curiousity, why not call and make the appt for him? Maybe I overcompensate a bit, but I book all my husband's appts (eye, dental, ect). Otherwise he'd never go. Or is it more an issue of he doesn't even want to go?
