Boss called my pants "mom pants" : (

I've been waiting to tell my boss about baby #2 until I was 14 weeks. I'm a little over 12w today. I come into work, and he says "oh, wearing your mom pants today. How are you feeling?"

I was like W.T.F.???!!!! So I furiously text DH what happened. He's like, just fess up, he knows. I told him so I wouldn't be a paranoid idiot all day. First, how the heck did he figure it out?? And second, MOM PANTS?? MOM PANTS???? I want to CRY. I try so hard to look very put together and nice, especially PG. I'm starting to get thicker, but still in my regular clothes. I'm the type that thinks the nicer I look, the better I feel.

So know I feel like a total mom hag after that comment. : ( I REALLY like my boss, but ug. Talk about sucking the wind out of my sails.

Men don't realize exactly what the best thing is to say to a woman, in any situation. He probably didn't mean to offend you, but any woman would know that "mom pants" is a put down. Just laugh it up to him being clueless :-)

And I am sure you look great!
