My MIL said that she wanted to offer me a helper for the first bit (not sure how long that means, but will take anything, right?!) once I arrive back in the city with the twins.
How should I go about finding someone? When I was in the city, I was registered through an agency to nanny (had to do a criminal bkgrd. check, finger prints, resume, recs, etc.) but have never been on the other end as the mommy seeking help...
What kind of hiring process did you go through? Any recs. on age or experience of the helper?
I am very grateful of my MIL to offer, but just want to be sure I don't just rush into getting a helper and MIL doesn't live anywhere near us so I don't think she is planning on doing the search.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
Re: Hiring Help How-To?
I don't have any experience here, but could you contact the same agency you were with and see how to do things from the other side? I'd think they'd have a way to help you or at least be able to steer you in the right direction.
That's really great of your MIL! I hope you can find someone who will be a great help. You're right - any little bit helps!!
Good luck!
