High-Risk Pregnancy

101 days...

So we are set and ready to go - will have c-section on 9/30, unless something goes south in the next 10 days.... Providing everything goes down on the 30th, I will have spent 101 days on bed rest..... that is a long time and some good baby cookin', if I do say so myself!

Re: 101 days...

  • Congrats! And you're right, definitely some good baby cooking! Keep it up and stay strong! My legs are all swollen today, but BP is good. DH bought me some compression stockings....AHHHH...totally should have done that sooner!

  • Wow!! I will be in the same boat if I can last that long!!! I'm hoping I can! Congratulations!!
  • I'm glad you have a c/s date set.  I hope it helps you stay sane for the next week or so.  I'm thinking that you'll get to take this baby home with you, too!

It's nuts... I remember in June being like if I make it to Sept that will be over 3 months - how in the world can I do that.... I hope you will have your triple digit bed rest numbers too.. cause you started at 21 - so you have a week more than me... Maybe once it starts getting cold it will be easier too cause who wants to go out in the cold Michigan winter anyway??

  • Incredible :)  And so exciting to have an end in sight!

Isn't it crazy how these kids will never understand what we went through?  I remember my mom talking about being on bedrest with my sister (for non-pre-e reasons), I was just like, yeah, yeah, yeah.  . . . I owe her an apology!

I know my nurse joked the other day and said at least you are doing this for a girl who will talk back to you and tell you that you're a terrible mother in 16 years!  Oh, I hope not - but she is probably right!

  • Yay for you!!!  I have my c-section scheduled for the Friday, the 25th, provided that the amnio they are making me do shows that her lungs are developed enough... I will be 38 weeks, I hope they would be!
  • YEAH! So excited for you.?
