Molars

There is a last set of molars that come in around 2 years right? DD has been randomly sticking her whole hand in her mouth and then screaming as loud as she can. She's also been really drooly latey - this is a child who was never a drooler. All I can think is she must have one last set of teeth coming in. Am I right? We never had problems with teething before (thank goodness!) so this is kind of new to me.

Re: Molars

  • Poor kiddo! Yes, I believe there are 2 year molars...sounds familiar, anyway. :) I hope she feels better soon, maybe try some Orajel or something similar on her gums, or see if she'll chew on a washcloth that's wet with cold water or frozen?

  • Yep Cruz is getting a couple of his 2 year molars right now.  Heis whiney and has been waking up in the night and we have to give him tylenol.  I can feel 2 of them coming in but not the other 2.  They have been coming in FOREVER!!!!  So tired of this!  I have heard from friends of mine that the 2 year molars are pretty tough on them and this appears to be true for us too!
