Heard on the radio this morning

that Jon and Kate are splitting the kids up. Jon will be taking Maddie and Cara to NY with him and Kate with have the sextuplets and permanently live in the PA home. That is crazy IMO...

    I don't believe it.   They are contractually obligated to give the kids to TLC first.

    Is it totally messed up of me to think this might be best for Maddie?  She is totally nuts because of having all those little ones around.  The whole situation is crazy.

    Very sad! I can't believe that they would even THINK of doing this to those children...

    Really? I haven't heard that yet. I hope it doesn't happen either. Their whole situation has just blown to bits and now there is shrapnel flying everywhere. I wonder if the insanity will ever stop.

    What!? Whose idea was this & how the hell do they think this is a good idea? Those poor kids! I was adopted when I was 7, my parents didn't adopt my sister so she moved on to other foster families. I saw her once when I was 12 and then I had to find her on my own when I was 19. This is something I still can't forgive my mom for. YOU DON"T SPLIT UP SIBLINGS! In about 16 years you are going to have 8 angry adults runing around.

    You just brought up a very good point!

    I sometimes wonder what effects will happen with SS and SD because of the divorce for when they get older. It happened with they were very young. SD has really low self-esteem already, which may or may not be caused by the divorce, so it just kind of makes me wonder. Of course, we are doing everything in our power to raise them right when we have them, but the future is unknown.

    Now, transfer that concern to EIGHT kids, and on top of that, they are being split up... and the fact that their lives are in the media. Wow. I hope those kids go through some amazing counseling.?

    But if they don't split the kids, how are they each going to have their own show?  Splitting them is the only way.  Duh.
    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    Agreed.

    Honestly, if it were true, I wouldn't be all that shocked. J&K have said numerous times throughout the years that they feel horribly guilty and think they've shortchanged the twins by having the six.

    I think it could be good for them quite honestly. It's not like the kids will never see each other. Honestly, I doubt the sets would miss each other that much. Now if they each took three of the little ones and one of the twins.

    But anyway, there is no way Jon could handle the six but I think he'd do just fine with the twins if he gives up the skanks.
