URGH!!! OB Vent

Good Morning ladies, happy monday!

So, my OB tells me that I have a large fibroid (very first appointment at 7 weeks) and my high risk doctor tells me he can't be sure until it's biopsied (can't be doen until after I deliver) but isn't convinced it's a fibroid due to it's location and size. My OB has promised me ultrasounds every 4 weeks to monitor the growth of the tumor and at appointment last week, guess what... no ultrasound.  I asked her about it and she said that she will monitor it every 8 weeks instead that many women have fibroids and deliver fine.  This is totally stressing me out for a number of reasons:

1. No way can tell it is for sure a fibroid

2. It's getting bigger and more painful by the day and i'm only 14 weeks

3. No one can give me a straight answer as to what I need to do or what it could be if it isn't a fibroid.

I called my high risk doctor and they won't see me unless my OB refers me again which she won't do because she has her mind made up it's a fibroid even though the doctor at Winnie Palmer did not agree.  I should probably mention also that I have a very strong family history of cancer. Also, my OB told me it's inoperable due to its location and removal would complicate my ability to use the bathroom.  Seriously, can she scare me anymore!

Sorry ladies but I needed to vent! 

What should I do?  Get a second opionion?  Switch doctors?  She has been OB since I was 17 years old.
