Couples Showers?

So we actually had a couples wedding shower and will also have a couples baby shower but everyone thought we were weird for having a couples wedding shower! Seems more common for couples baby showers then I thought though.

Who all is having/or had a couples baby shower?

Or even wedding shower? 

Just wondering...

    We had three showers... one with friends, one family, and I had one at work. There were guys at all three... even my work one (DH was not present). They all seemed to enjoy it! We just stayed away from super girly themes.

    We had a couples shower and it was really laid back and fun.  More like a bbq than a baby shower.  The only person who thought it was a little off was my grandpa, but I think that's just his generation.  But he ended up loving it.  The guys and girls all hung out together and chatted and all enjoyed beer and wine, but me of course.  I think it is just the word shower that kind of freaks men out.  Have fun at yours!

    We had a couples wedding shower and many of our friends have as well. I think it depends on the fam. or group of friends throwing it! I also had a bridal shower on my moms side of the fam.

    One of my baby showers will be girls only and one for DHs family will be a couples shower. So I think it depends on your family or your preference I def. dont think its weird though

    We had a coed baby shower, but it was very laid back. It was basically a BBQ with beer, cake, and gifts. No silly games or anything like that- just relaxing with friends.

    We're having a couples/co-ed shower!! It is next Saturday (sep 26) I'm so excited, I think it will be a blast!! I mean.. DH wants to be there and his friends want to be a part of it so why not!?! I think it's really cool he wants to be apart of it!! Smile

    We had a co-ed wedding shower and in a couple weeks are having a co-ed baby shower. For me its a lot more full hanging out with both our guy & girl friends.

    We had a couples wedding shower, and we're having a couples baby shower next weekend. DH will also be included in the work shower since we both work at the same place!

    My shower in TX was all girls, but the one next weekend is co-ed, and I'm looking forward to it. And so is DH! It's his baby too, right!?! :)

    We have a co-ed baby shower...since some of our closest friends are single guys and we just wanted to throw a big party for the baby.  I think it was a huge success. We had food and a few games (they loved the $10 gift cards as prizes) and watched me open presents. Then the real party began with the guys playing Poker and the girls playing Cranium with some drinking in between for my guests.  I think for me it was important that my guests have a fun time and it made sense for us since everyone, boys and girls, were friends with each other.

    We are having a couples baby shower this weekend:) Also we are getting married next July and plan to have a couples wedding shower too!
