Drop In's bottles, what do you think?

I like the idea of not having lots of parts to clean. Do you use these? Do you like them?

Re: Drop In's bottles, what do you think?

  • I am slowly switching to them right now, because all other bottles have failed us (max has colic and is really gassy/fussy).

Once you figure out how to use them, they seem to be pretty great. You only wash/steralize the nipples... and the bottles you can do every once and a while.

  • I use them and like them.  I really like our Evenflo glass bottles better (no real reason why, just do), but the drop-ins have been great as well.

  • DD hasn't had any gas issues.  I've used the drop ins and liked them, but I like Gerber (once she was about 3 months) and Parent's Choice the same.  I started using those so I wouldn't have to keep buying liners.
  • like the bottle, hate the nipples...and so far i cant find another brand of nipple that fits.

  • We started out using these and I liked them at first, but then I got tired of buying liners.  I felt like I was always shelling out more money on them.  I was already washing nipples and pump parts, what's a few bottles as well?  We tried several different types of bottles to switch to, and DS didn't like any other nipples.  So, now we're using Playtex VentAires Advance Wide.  The drop ins nipples fit the Ventaire Wide bottles.  I know the drop in are supposed to be good for gas but DS has had less problems with spit up and gas with the Ventaire.  I'm so happy we switched.

  • I BF and DH feeds S a bottle at night and we use drop ins and they have worked great for us.

  • We used them with DS and we are using them 50% of the time with DD( we use ventairs the other 50 % of the time).  I still really like the drop-ins.
  • Eh. I have been BFing since DD was born and just started pumping last week so that I could be in a wedding on Saturday and drink. ;D I may not be doing it right, but it is a pain to pump using them. And they are kind of hard to store and I see no point in buying a different liner to store the milk in.

Just my opinion. Not too impressed, but I pretty much think any bottle is a PITA.

  • We love them, and just hand-wash the nipples as soon as a feeding is done. It's worked really well for us.
  • I love them. I get the big box of liners about once a month. It is around 7 bucks I think? I didn't like the target brand though, they didn't seem to be a good fit.
  • I LOVE these. I posted yesterday woot kids had a set of 5 for 10 bucks shipped. It was a really good deal
