Fall Festivals?

I am from IL and we have lots of these back home...

I am missing home something terrible right now...

Does anyone know of anything this going on in the area. I am willing to drive but not too far. We are in Silver Spring...DH loves to drive so thats not an issue.

Something with crafts, music, fall food like apple dumplings, etc...

    There are a million around here. 

    I have a yearly subscription to "Our Kids" which lists Fall Festivals every year.  You're supposed to be a member to get access to the list - they have a ton of great resources - and I can't copy and paste here, but here are a few from the list (I'll just type some out, maybe you can Google them):

    In Maryland, Agricultural History Farm Park Harvest Festival, Butler's Orchard, Clark's Elioak Farm, Crumland Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, Huber's Farm, King Farm Fall Festival, Montpelier Farm, North Run Farm, Queen Anne Farm, Shlagel Farms Pumpkin Patch, Summers Farm.

    I don't have the energy to type them all out, but I wonder if you google the term "Fall Festival" then "Maryland" then the word "farm" - maybe you can bring some up.

    Have fun!  We went Fall Festival crazy last year, I think we went to three of them in VA three weekends in a row last year.

    I'd say there is probably a mixture of smallish ones on the list as well as larger ones. 

    Actually, you may get more responses on the regular DC Board - there may be some Maryland gals on there who can help you out (I'm in VA).
