My daughter will be 3 in about two weeks and she suddenly has horrible stranger anxiety. I know this is a normal part of development--anyone else going through this?
My older DD is 2.5 and she is becoming very shy around people she meets for the first time. Even if someone compliments her out in public, she will make a sad face and put her head down and kind of shrink down. I just try to tell her, it's ok for you to say hi! So far it hasn't been a big deal. I remember being told when I was younger that I was very shy and I'm assuming it's just a stage.

Exactly what Natalie does! This is such inopportune timing too--poor baby freaked out at my brother's wedding (flower girl=disaster) and her new dance class (cried and refused to participate) even though she begged me to go to dance school! Glad I'm not the only Mom going through this. Thanks!
