Nothing sounds good to eat

This has been going on for 5 weeks now and I'm getting so irritated. I actually just looked at 37 pages in Google trying to find a restaurant in our county that sounded like it'd have something I'd want to eat. No luck. There isn't anything in the house that sounds tasty either. I'm STARVING!

If you've felt like this, what is your "go-to" food that always works for you? Thanks!

  • I have the same thing...I just eat something just to eat.  It's not what I want but it does the job for now!  Good luck!

  • I've found that I just have to eat something small like a piece or bread and then maybe I'll want to eat something. Last night I forced myself to eat part of a leftover burrito and I am still not feeling good. the night before I just ate a slice of bread for dinner and that went much better.

  • I've been hit with that recently. MH has to pick dinner every night now because of it.

  • Really?  Ice cream.  Or McDonald's fries, neither of which are healthy!  I've pretty much been forcing myself to eat what I normally do (as long as it doesn't make me queasy!)  I haven't gotten excited about anything I've eaten recently.

  • Yesterday I couldn't imagine putting anything into my body except potato soup.  Sweet DH went to the store and got some for me even though his football game was starting.  I still didn't feel great after eating it, but at least I got something in my body.  I think that's probably what I'll be eating today too.  Nothing sounds good!

  • I have this problem too.  I don't have the type of m/s where I am throwing up, but just an overall icky feeling where I don't feel like eating anything.  I've been eating a lot of really bland stuff - saltines, toast, soup etc.  I'm probaby not much help - sorry!

  • Carbs! pasta, pizza, bread anything with carbs.  mmmm homemade pizza  with DH's tomato sauce on it mmmm. Too bad he wants thai for dinner.

  • I'm with skroops...  I have just had a "general ick" since I found out.  I wouldn't have called it m/s, though.  Absolutely nothing sounds good to eat for me, so I've been just sort of eating whatever.  My usual fav as cool weather approaches are creamy soups, but those are a total no-go these days.  <sigh>  Ready for 2nd tri!!!

  • CARBS!!! But also, peanut butter sandwiches and recently tomato soup.  Yum!  Anything with chicken or pork grosses me out. 
  • Umm... a Blizzard or Frosty... not that those are great choices, but they always taste good and don't give me indigestion.  ha!
  • Toast and poptarts.

    I pretty much hate food these days.
