I had my baby! (story to follow later on...)

the short details:

Had her today at 2:09pm (38 wks 3 d)

contrax started at about 11-11:30 am at home and quickly became very close together.I was 7cm when I arrived at the hospital, then 10 cm by 1pm....pushed for about an hour...for a grand total of a 3.5 hour labor! OB and everyone on staff was shocked since she's my first.

natural delivery other than IV drugs (wasn't even time for an epidural even if I wanted one, which I did at one point!)

Madelyn Kristine is 7lbs 7oz and 19.5 inches long and we are in LOVE. She is an absolute angel. She is sleeping on my belly and I can't stop staring at her. She hasn't been interested in feeding yet but we've already had two very impressive diaper changes. DH was an awesome labor coach and has been so sweet.

I should sleep soon but I can't...i will hand her off to the nurses shortly because I am EXHAUSTED!
