where do you go to print pictures??

just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to locally print pictures.  i usually go to costco but their photos are usually really dark looking.  i used to go to kits but they have closed down.  does anyone have any suggestions on where they like to go for printing photos?  also has anyone tried shutterfly - what was your experience with them?  thanks!

  • I usually turn the auto correct feature off when I print at costco and then I get better results

    This!?

  • I still go to Kits, just have to make the drive to Alderwood Mall. I tried Walgreens but their photo paper just seemed alot cheaper if that makes sense?

Kits do send out in mailoption too that are actually cheaper & you can always find coupon codes online.

  • I either upload them to Ritz camera at Northgate mall and pick up there, or I can upload to Walgreens either through the Walgreen's website or the Snapfish website and print to walgreen's nearest my mom for sending photos back east.
After three years TTC, four IUI's plus 2 cancelled, MFI (morph, motility, count), maternal age (40 as of 5/12) & former endo, we're moving to IVF spring 2012 (good/avg AMH and FSH). We did beat the odds once, however. DD born after 2 years TTC with clomid and no monitoring at my age 35. Doctors are SHOCKED we were able to conceive. Here's hoping for another miracle.
  • I use the Kinkos instant machines. It prints them right there, no waiting an hour. Better than the costco prints, but now hearing about this auto correct button I might have to try costco again.
  • Definitely turn off auto correct for printing at Costco.  I used a nearby Walgreen's once and got AWFUL prints. :(  Another option is www.mpix.com.  It's the consumer side of a well known professional printer.  If you're going with an online printer, I'd suggest them over shutterfly.  HTH!
