that don't absorb water...

I even tried stripping them... nada - they just smear it around... *sigh* I'd return them, but DH is a notorious packaging tosser, so I'm not sure that I can... although I might try if I can find the receipt.

Re: What to do with kitchen towels
100% cotton, according to the tag. Sure don't absorb like it, though.... *glares*
Hippy - got them at Blue Heron here in town - generally a nice kitchen store, and with FABULOUS selections of Tag dishtowels, which I routinely go in and swoon over. These, are NOT Tag, btw. These SUCK.
Maybe you could call the store and see what they say. But if they aren't colored I'd try using a bit of bleach to 'rough up' the fibers.
You do know that "colorsafe bleach" is really just hydrogen peroxide, yes?
I learned somehting new, LOL!
Really... Darn 7th Generation with their fancy packaging.... I may have to paint the bottle brown now...
MSDS.
.....bastards.... j/k.... Thanks for that website, though. So bookmarking it!
