What did you do with your extra drugs?

My insurance (at the time) covered all of my IVF meds (Menopur, Gonal F, progesterone, etc) and I used it to stim in December. I just had my baby in August and I still have lots of the meds unopened and left over. Most of them expire in March. We definitely want to have another child, but starting early next year would be way too soon and meds would not be enough of a reason to stop breastfeeding and try again so soon. The kicker is, when we do start to try again (middle/end of next year at the earliest), we will no longer have that insurance and would have to pay for the meds out of pocket....sigh! If only the meds expiration date wasn't so early in the year!

    I think I saw a post on the national board Trouble TTC that talked about this.  There is a girl there who organizes extra meds and connects them to people in need.

    I gave them to my RE to give to other patients.

    i gave them to someone from the tttc board.  someone organizes it and sets you up with someone who needs what you have.
