Dh is out of town and it has rained everyday for the last 7 days, the last 2 days literally all day. We went to a movie, to the library, and out to dinner, but still it was a boring day.
So I went shopping and got DD this stuff for Christmas:
Melissa and Doug Wooden Dollhouse and wooden family
M& D The fold and go mini barn + the extra horses set
M&D Sandwich making, cutting food, food groups, and slice and bake cookies
M&D clock puzzle
Now I can't wait for Christmas. I always shop for her early to spread out the $$$. DS is still too small to need much, and he has a million toys handed down from my DD and nephew, so he will probably not get much. I think a lot of this stuff, other than the doll house, he can use later.
Do you think I went totally overboard?
Re: Just spent $200 on DD for Christmas.
DD has this stuff in her kitchen and she LOVES it! She has the fruit with the bag too. She seriously plays with it every day. I plan to get the pizza set for Christmas to add to it and the birthday cake set for her b-day next year.
I don't think it's overboard. I have already started shopping for DD for Christmas too. Like you said I like to spread it out - it worked great last year.
i do the same and esp with his bday being dec 16. its a very exp month. oh and dh is the 28th lol.
i love M&D stuff. i got ds a few things when Target had their toy clearance sale and did awesome.
