Could tylenol from my breastmilk make her constipated? I've been running a high fever and had to take tylenol to keep it down. Her constipation started the same day as my fever/tylenol. Could they be related?

Re: Anyone have tylenol in bm constipate baby?
Well to be honest, she's just not pooping. I thought around this time babies needed at least a certain # of poopy diapers to assure they were getting enough to eat. I've been so worried that she's not getting enough since all we've had are wet diapers.
I'm hoping she'll poop tomorrow or tonight!
It's really unusual for a BF baby to be truly constipated. When was the last time she pooped? 3wks is young to drop dirty diapers, but that is when dd started, and she still only poops every other day at 3mos now. At that age, I'd probably call if it's been more than 3 days.
I called the pedi after 36 hours and they weren't concerned. It's normal (eventually) for BF babies to go up to a week without pooping. They suggested I try taking a rectal temp, that sometimes can encourage LO to go. I decided to wait it out and she pooped with a few hours of me calling. I hope she goes for you soon!
No.. try giving warm water and brown sugar in a bottle.. it will make her poop.
