Ya'll are going to go "well good for YOUUUU who cares" but I had to post about my parents and inlaws.

I see a lot of posts on the boards regarding this subject and they're usually negative. I know, yeah, some in-laws are NUTS and I totally understand. But I just have to say how lucky I feel to have such great ones.

My mother in law comes over on Friday afternoons while I work to watch DD. They live ten blocks up the way from us and I love having them so close. They love my DD so freaking much. But they aren't overbearing. My MIL even asks me from time to time if she's doing everything right with DD so we can get any issues, if any, in the open.

My mother took the summer off to watch my DD while I went back to work and found daycare for her. She was so good to her and just loves her to pieces... 

Annnd one more bit of happy news, my DH let me sleep in this morning. He woke up at 5:30 to take care of DD and I slept until 9:00!!! It was weird waking up on my own, and not to a baby crying lol. I love that he does that for me.

Anyway, I know everyone's situation is different but I just have to say how much I love and appreciate my family. They've done so much for us and I just feel really blessed. My DD is one lucky little girl to have so many people who love and care for her.

    I have to say I am in just about the same situation as you and I do not take enough time to sit back and think how great everything really is. We all get so caught up in the moment that sometimes it's so good to sit back and appreciate everyone in my life, because it all goes so fast!

    So thanks for being so positive! =)

    I also say that's  great!  I think mostly what you see on here is negative b/c many women need somewhere to vent-and it's very easy to vent to a bunch of strangers-no hurt feelings.  My family is wonderful with ds...and dh's family is pretty good too (okay, they do annoy me with their comments about how we should let ds cry until he stopped (at 7 weeks this started) and feed him a popsicle at 6 months (he hadn't had anything other than breastmilk at that point)..but they're basically good!)
