PICKLES in one sitting! don't ask me how I did it.
I am from the 1st tri and really have some questions for you all. I will go back to 1st tri after this...
1)When does your belly/boobs start itching?
2) When does your belly get hard?
3) Has anyone else noticed their seat belt being uncomfortable and is there any way that you avoid the belt going completely over your baby.
4) oh and one more question do you put diapers and clothes on a registry list? I am TEAM GREEN and me and DH plan on buying all the big ticketed items like stroller, car seat and crib our selves.
TIA
Re: I ate an entire jar of.....
my boobs have been itching since about 8 weeks for me.
And my seatbelt only bothers me if my tummy hurts.
I just wanted to say hello! It was fun when you snuck over earlier this week and hung out with the Hooters!
That was our little Hooters secret!
1. I always have had itchy skin. It really hasn't been any more or less itchy in any one location since pg. I did have a period during early first tri - 6-8 weeks or so, when I was SUPER itchy everywhere.
2. Mine still isn't entirely hard - I have a nice layer of cushion that sits over the top. While it pokes out to be sure, I can still suck in a lot of the "showing".
3. No - seatbelt doesn't bother me. Wear it low and tight accross your lap. Do NOT not wear it!
4. I wouldn't bother registering for clothes. People will get them for you without registering and they are impossible to find IN the store. As for diapers - if you are doing sposies, I'm not sure. We're cloth diapering and I am registering for them since they are kinda pricey but SUPER cute.

Oh...I mean...um...
1) my belly itches now and then. I tend to slather it with lotion, so I generally don't have dry skin.Drinking water helps
2) For me, it depends on the baby. If the baby squishes to the top, or kicks up high, my belly feels harder. Most times though, I'm still a little squishy.
3) I find tilting the seat back a little (just a click or two) helps keep the lap belt down low over my hips, and doesn't let it ride up or push on my tummy, which really is uncomfortable. Edit: Your seat belt should ALWAYS be across your hips, low and snug. Doesn't matter if you're pregnant or not, it's the correct way to wear it, and will protect you the best.
4) I wouldn't put clothes on the registry, unless it's just an item or two to give people an idea of what stuff you like. I don't see a problem with diapers, though. Diapers are always a good gift. Babies poop! lol
