I am really having a pity party kind of day

My (old) (male) coworker just straight up ASKED me how much weight I've gained.

Right after staring at me, saying, "Wow, WHEN'S your due date? You're not going to make it until then! I bet food tastes really good to you now! Are you sure there's not more than one in there?" during the course of a five minute conversation (from which I was desperately trying to extract myself the whole time).

I'm really hungry, I have a headache, I'd like a snack, but now I feel too down on myself to eat anything other than this skanky old apple that I don't want.

Also earlier today I overheard someone saying, "She's really gained a lot of weight" and now I'm convinced they were talking about me.

just so you know your not alone.... a few lovely comments I have been given over the last 9 months....here goes:o) ?

"oh thats cute your ass is getting so fat" (mother)

"Hey there chubby" (salesmen at work...in front of all coworkers)

"You know your getting pretty chubby" (FL in front of DH's family)

"Wow your getting so huge" (payroll lady at work)

and my favorite.......

"You must be having a girl they suck the beauty out of you" (thanks mom!)

and people wonder why I just want to hide in my house until I give birth!!!! I thought people were suppose whisper sweet lies to pregnant women!!!! People....Unless you are commenting on how great we look...lie or not....dont comment please!!!!:o)?

And normally I really like the guy, but FFS leave me alone! I can't even walk down the f*cking hall without hearing what a cow I am! And this guy is obese BTW not that that should matter but you'd think he might be a bit more sensitive about it.

I know!!!! I swear the bigger the person is the more they comment on how fat I am!!! And you have to bite your tongue to not just say I growing a human being inside of me whats your excuse!??

My dad (who is 60 and lives about 1,000 miles away) asked me how much weight I had gained on the phone recently. I just said "a lot" and left it at that. Turns out, my mom lectured him afterwards on how rude and inappropriate it was to ask that. I just think some of these people (especially the older generation) are clueless! I love my dad, but the last thing I need from him is any insight (of which he has NONE) on my pregnancy weight gain!
