I'm a little early for this but I thought it would be good. Please post any recipes you have that you are going to cook and freeze for just after baby is born.

I hadn't even thought of this yet. I'm excited to see what everyone else says!

I plan on freezeing bolongese sauce(for pasta), and chili, but that's all I got so far. I'm excited to have a winter baby as most freezable foods are more winter foods.
I love to marinade different cuts of meat and then freeze them. This way all I have to do is defrost and cook. No marinade making and waiting. Mini Meatloaf where you make the mix and then cook them later turns out well too.
Cooked frozen foods: the soups and pasta dishes are good. I also love to make homemade sloppy joes and freeze the meat and pot pies are good too.
I can't think of any other things I pre-cook and freeze. But I have found web sites dedicated to freezable entrees that were very helpful!
Meatballs (form, place on cookie sheet to harden, then put in a ziploc...that way they don't get squished/stuck together and you cane take a few out at a time)
Meatloaf (do the same as the meatloaf. You can do one large or several mini-loaves free form
Enchiladas
Chicken and dumplings
Chicken Paprikash (don't add sour cream until you reheat)
Beef Stroganoff (don't add sour cream until you reheat)
Chicken Pot Pie Filling (buy a frozen pre-made crust and keep frozen separately)
And of course the already mentioned chili, bolognese sauce, lasagnas, soups, etc.
I am going to buy a freezer before the baby and make a TON of these dishes since we have no family nearby and just moved and have no friends;)...

Re: Pre-Cooked Meal Ideas
These aren't recipes, but ideas... any recipe would work...
A big batch of soup. (DH's turkey soup is my fave!)
Chili
Lasagne
I'm sure I'll think of more....
Lasagna- when you cut it into squares you can put it in a ziplock and it freezes perfectly.
Beans - These freeze REALLY well.
Taco Meat- Also Freezes really well.
