    Oh man! How scary! The paramedics really should have made her go, but then again she should have known that she should have gone to make sure the baby is ok.

    She said she was so worried about her 3 year old, whom I believe she was on her way to pick up (if I read correctly) so I totally get that, actually.  She said she was going to go to the ER tonight.  I think she obviously wasn't thinking clearly, shaken up from the accident, and her mind was on her first baby.

    Paramedics can't make you go anywhere against your will. They can strongly advise you to go but if they force you to go that would be kidnapping. She is a conscious grown adult and capable of making her own decisions.

    Yeah, after everyone told her to.  In the OP she said she wasn't going til the morning, and I'm amazed she didn't call her OB.

    Yes they should have. I was in a car accident when I was preg with DD. It was a 4 car pile up and 2 of us were pregnant. The cop never called a paramedic and didn't even care. DH made me go to the ER that night because I was having cramps. It was from the stress of the accident I think, but she still needs to go in.

    I really hope she goes to the hospital.  We got into a very small accident when I was 25 weeks and the OB made me stay overnight for monitoring...
