I'm 30 today...

...and the only thing taking the sting out of it is that I am expecting, in just a few weeks, a precious baby girl.

I don't deal well with milestone birthdays...and suprisingly, I feel wonderful today.  I slept from 11pm till 830am...and only got up 4 or 5 times to use the bathroom.  Woohooo...that hasn't happened in weeks and weeks...

She woke me up kicking like she was trying out for the JV soccer team...and that always makes me smile.

If this is what my 30s are going to be like, I say bring 'em on!!

    Welcome to your 30's =) I was terrified of turning 30 - but it's not so bad after all (and I'm half way through my 30's!!)

    FWIW - I'm 8 years in and my 30's have been by FAR the best years of my life.

    Oh... and be sure to listen to Tim McGraw's song  "The Next 30 Years" at some point today.  Even if you don't like country music it's a cool anthem for your day!

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

    30 is GREAT!  You finally are taken serious - like a "real" adult... My 30's have been the best years of my life... though, i'm not thrilled that i'm in  my late 30s now and getting really close to 40 :) lol

    I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.

    And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!

    Happy Birthday! I turned 30 in January and it helped that I was 23 weeks pregnant with DS.

    How nice of your DD to give you a gift of extra sleep! :)
