Are you feeling them only in your lower stomach? I've been having lots of them for the past two days but they've always been below the belly button. When I talk to the doc's office they seem to say I should be feeling them around my whole stomach.
I mostly feel them in my ribs. I had a NST yesterday and my doctor said that it should feel like the baby is moving up (into my ribs) when I have a contraction.
i feel like i get period cramps and then my whole stomach tightens up. it also feels like she is trying to sqeeze the crap out of my bladder by pushing down on it so hard it hurts.
I'm beginning to think maybe these aren't contractions. They really feel like bad menstrual cramps. They go across my whole lower abdomen and can feel pretty sharp. They last about a minute and can be timed pretty regularly (and after an hour they usually fade). But I never feel like my whole uterus is tightening. This is so confusing.
