  Happy Friday, Everyone. This weekend in addition to going to the Renn Fest and eating greasy fair food, I am determined to clean out the nursery and get the furniture set up.

  I have my 1 hour Glucose challenge on Monday. Hopefully, that will go well and I won't need the 3 hour. At the same time I have my 26 week appt. After that I am on the every 2 weeks schedule-- already!

  Hi Ladies,

  I had a great week.  I saw my OB on Monday.  BP is great, weight was good, up 7lbs since last month for a total weight gain of 15lbs (I was at least 10lbs overweight before we started, so 15 is a really good number at this point)!  Urinalysis was great.  Our little man is still head down and is measuring a week ahead and has been for this whole preganancy.  I am starting to get really achey in my pelvis, have sparadic sciatica and sacrium pain and the latest is a really sore tailbone.  I guess that's all to be expected since I am carrying very low and he has been head down for a month already.

  Also, the office that I work in is moving locations next friday and merging facilities with another local branch, so last night the whole office went out to dinner and covered the cost for our Branch Manager, his wife and his assistant as he will not be the manager of the new branch.  It was really nice and I thought it was all for him, but my co-workers surprised me with a baby gift.  I was completely shocked and broke down crying...I'm not so good when people surprise me like that.  Anyway, they gave me a BRU gift card for $200 (10 people at $20 per person).  I thought it was a great gift as I am having my baby shower next saturday and now I have this gift card to do some registry completion shopping!  Then to top off the night, the stockbroker that I work for paid for my meal!  I love the people I work with!

  As for this weekend...it's the home opener for our local hockey team, so DH and I will be taking in the game tonight and the rest of the weekend I will be resting up!  Have a great weekend ladies!

  Hey everyone - today could have not come fast enough!  I was on vacation all last week (no where fun) so the week after vacation is always tough to get through. 

  So my friend lent me her doppler (which I was totally against getting one myself, but since its free I took her up on it)...and it was fun finding the baby's HB last night.   It wasn't easy though (not to mention messy!!) so I think I'll prob get bored with it and not use it too much.  

  Some people swear by them though....anyone on this board use an at-home doppler??

  Update:  I had the NT scan on Tuesday.  DH got to see the little peanut for the first time, which was cool.  Heartbeat was 158 and neck measurement was 1.1, and he/she is measuring about 2 days ahead.  Now I'm just waiting on the results of the first blood test, should have those early next week.  Other than that, just trying to take care of myself and let baby grow!

  Welcome and congrats to everyone new!

  I'm doing well. This week I had my 24-week appt with my glucose test (I passed! hooray!). I'm measuring about 25 weeks, and the doc said my weight gain is fine--it's about 18 lbs so far. I was worried, actually, that I've gained too much, so it was good to hear he's not concerned. (That said, I am laying off the sugar and junk food a bit--I've been living it up since the beginning of this pregnancy and I don't love the way I feel after eating crap.) We also had our growth scan and she looked good--she's about 1lb 12oz already, and she has the longest little legs! I can't wait to see them in person.

  This list freaks me out because, every week, my name is higher and higher on it!!!!!  GAH!!   Seems like yesterday when I was a newbie and November was SO far away.

  Baby shower last Sunday, touring the hospital tomorrow, another U/S on Monday.  Baby better be head down or I'm gonna start in with the poking!

  Nothing to exciting here, my next appt is in a couple of hours where hopefully I will have progressed more.. I have been stuck at 3 cm 90 % effaced for almost 3 weeks now ; ) & at this point very uncomfortable since I have two little ones at home.  My doctor has offered to induce me which will be on Sunday!  But I have been hoping to go on my own.. so good thoughts for my doctors appt!!!!  I have been having tons of real & BH contractions but no baby yet!

  I am glad everyone's week is going well. Next Wed. is my first tri screen, I am trying to remain calm, I took it as a day off work.If everything goes well I will have to find a way to tell my boss, I am not looking forward to that. Nothing planned for this weekend.

  I am sooo uncomfortable right now! I have this nagging back pain that won't go away. It's been really tough to stay at work. But the end is in sight...

  DH is off doing a running relay race, Reach the Beach. It's 200 mile, 24+ hour race through the state of NH. He'll be with a team of 12 people, each running three legs. I have done it years past and I am little sad that I'll miss this year. I just hope that I don't go into labor between now and tomorrow night

  I just play to kick back this weekend and enjoy some good "me" time while I still have it. My mom is coming tomorrow and were going shopping for some last minute things.

  Oh, and my nursery furniture is finally coming in on Wed!

  Yeah!  I'm moving up on the list!  All is well here - not much to report.  We go for our 34 week appointment on Tuesday and the little monster has been kicking up a storm.  We've narrowed down the list of names and had the last of the minor construction projects at the house completed this week.  I've been feeling great and still can't believe we are about 6 weeks away from meeting her!  I am hoping she starts dropping soon so that I can actually enjoy more than a few bites of food at a time. 

  I'm so happy to see so many new names on the list - I can hardly believe there are May babies on here already!   Welcome and congrats to all the new mommies!!

  Hope everyone had a great week! We had an appt on Wed and Marshmallow is definately a HE. He is measuring *huge*- 18 days ahead and half again heavier than standard, Dr advised that they will be keeping a close eye on things but I may want to begin reconcilling an early induction. Not that he is planning it now, but wanted to put the thought in my head...

  Biggest thing right now is that we are debating switching from our current Dr to a midwife in the same practice. The Dr is very knowledgable, but a little too 'assembly-line' and intervention happy for my tastes. Insurance will cover a midwife, and now that we aren't classified as high-risk anymore I'm *really* considering it...

  I think it's 2% of babies that are born on their exact due date.  My mom had 3 girls...the first was a week late, I was right on my date and my younger sister was a week early.  No surprising, my older sis is always scrambling to make it to events on time, I am almost always right on time or a couple minutes early and my younger sister is early for everything!

  Hi: I am NHNative (Tracy). My due date is still 1/30/10 and we found out that its a girl!!!  So, add me to team pink, please. Can't believe I am haflway done already! I had an appointment with the dr. today and she heard a strong heartbeat and said that all is measuring normally. I have gained 10 lbs so far. I also got a flu shot today and my arm is very sore. :-(

  DH and I are staritng ot get in gear and organized. We booked a "babymoon" vacation for October, and are starting to think about names, shopping for nursery, registering, childbirth classes, etc. Good luck to all you ladies.

  Our floors were finally finished this week. I slept at my neighbor's for a few days so I wouldn't have to smell the fumes from the floor.

  We are going to put everything we moved back this weekend, and my husband is currently building the crib. We are becoming more and more prepared.

  I still feel great and really love being pregnant.

  Hi!  Coming in a little late for Friday!

  I'm pretty okay!  I'll be term on Tuesday, and the doctor has been making induction noises because of the growth problems the spawnling has had.  Hopefully we won't have to do that, but whatever's best for her.

  I think we finally have everything sorted out, nursery and baby-prep wise, except for our daily struggles with cat hair.  I'm starting to think just vacuuming the kitties directly would save time.
