High-Risk Pregnancy

YAY, my 2hr number was good...I think!

My doc hasn't told me where he wants my numbers to be...but he did say under 120 is good.

I did my 1/2 dose of Glyburide and Metformin before breakfast and my 2 hr was 98...which was way better than yesterday's 56!

 I need some good snack ideas...I've been trying to make due with what's at the house until I go to the grocery today.  TIA!!!  You all are the best! I love this board!

  • My favorite snacks are:

    Greek yogurt with fruit and/or nuts

    egg, tuna or chicken salad on wasa crackers

    fruit and cheese

    spinach salad with mozerella cheese balls and a glass of milk

    two frozen banquet chicken tenders and a half a glass of milk

    turkey or chicken breast and cantelope

    cottage cheese and fruit

    I am making pumpkin soup for dinner- I am really in the mood for it.  I think I am going to have pumpkin soup, a pork chop and some spinach.  I am definitely in the mood for fall.

  • My very favorite AM snack, which I just finished eating, is a packet of reduced sugar oatmeal with a big ol' spoonful of peanut butter swirled in. I like the apples and cinnamon flavor. 

    I also tend to eat a lot of cheese and crackers or peanut butter and crackers for snacks. On the weekends (since I can't swing it at work), I'll have half a cup of ice cream (Edy's slow churned) with a bunch of peanuts on top. YUM. 

  • My fave snack is frozen cool whip with a few raspberries thrown in, don't forget about dark chocolate..mmm. Also, there are two products that I use that really come in handy...low carb wraps from walmart (in the cooler) and dreamfields pasta. Diabetics can have bread (wraps) and pasta too!
